The venue can also be reached by public transport followed by a short walk. Check current connections in Google Maps directions or the OSL journey planner ›

Bib pickup opens at 9:15 at the foot of the hill – wherever the happy commotion is coming from. Please allow enough time to collect your bib before your category starts.

Changing rooms, toilets and the NUTS spa

Changing rooms, showers and toilets are available at Pyrintö Lodge. The NUTS spa – a hot tub and field sauna – awaits after the run, so bring a swimsuit and towel.

Join the pre-Christmas spirit and feel free to arrive in suitably playful fancy dress.

Start and timing

The timed 6 h and 4 h categories have mass starts according to the schedule. You may keep a little distance and begin once the start crowd has spread out onto the hill.

Fun Run and Junior Run participants may begin freely between 10:00 and 16:00. The final lap must begin before 16:00.

Your performance is recorded when your bib crosses the start and finish line. The timing equipment may read a bib from several metres away, so approach the line only when you are ready to begin a lap.

Route

The new 2026 loop is roughly 740 metres long with about 40 metres of climbing. It runs across Köykkyri’s ski slope and forest trail. The route map and OutdoorActive embed will be published later.

Aid stations

There are two aid stations along each lap. The main station at the foot of the hill offers a broad selection of snacks and drinks, while the second station helps keep runners moving and queues under control. The detailed catering selection will be confirmed closer to the event.

You may leave your own food near the main aid station. Bring a distinctive or named reusable cup and a spoon – this keeps us from using a million disposable cups.

Finish

Your timing ends when you cross the start and finish line for the final time. As the equipment may attempt to read new laps from several metres away, please do not remain immediately beside the timing line after finishing.

The prize ceremony takes place in the finish area once the results have been confirmed. Remember the NUTS spa too: bring your swimsuit, towel and recovery drinks.

Safety and rules

Detailed safety, withdrawal and competition instructions will be published closer to the event.
